Goodbye Jos

The deed has been done.... he has had his final trip to the vet's.

It was time, a few sideways steps and then collapsing and woofing at your dinner bowl is not a dignified end for any self-respecting collie dog!

As predicted the house feels very empty at the moment. Am sure, once he wakes up, Pepper, the cat lodger, is going to miss him - he was always rubbing up against Jos purring, and even walking under his legs - a bit of a risky move recently when Jos was a bit wobbly on his legs!

Am sure it won't be too long before another woof enters our lives (especially if a certain couple of friends who keep sending email links to (usually sn!) dogs needing homes have anything to do with it!)

But in the meantime, good bye loopy, you certainly lived up to your nick name the last few months!
